Requirements:

NYS Teaching Assistant certification (or willingness to become certified) is required at the time of hire. Candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent and a desire to work with kids are encouraged to apply. Preferred candidates will have experience working with Special Education students.

Job Description:

Questar III BOCES announces a vacancy for a full-time School Psychologist to fill a leave of absence (9/1/2025 to 6/30/2026) located at Paul Puccio School at Maple Hill.  This position will be responsible for providing individual and group counseling; facilitate PBIS teams; respond and provide assistance in crisis situations; facilitate functional behavioral assessments; communicate with community agencies and other responsibilities as assigned by the Principal. 

Qualifications:

  • Proper NYS School Psychologist certification required (students who have just completed or are currently enrolled in a School Psychologist certification program are encouraged to apply). 
  • Preferred candidates will have experience working with special education students.
