About Starting Immediately - Questar III BOCES announces vacancies for full-time probationary Teaching Assistant positions to support students at Paul Puccio School at Maple Hill Students within this program have additional physical care needs. Competitive salary Estimated hourly pay range: $19.84 - $22.25 commensurate with experience 10-month school calendar and hours (optional summer school employment) Paid sick and personal leave time available as soon as you start Full health and dental benefits (5% employee contribution) Tuition Reimbursement Enrollment in the NYS Teacher’s Retirement Pension System Optional enrollment in 403b and Flexible Spending accounts Requirements: NYS Teaching Assistant certification level 1 or higher (or proof of working towards certificate in process) required. Candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent and a desire to work with kids are encouraged to apply. Preferred candidates will have experience working with Special Education students.
