Cleaner - Tech Valley

TVHS announces a vacancy for a part-time Cleaner.  This position will provide routine building cleaning and maintenance duties. This position will be based out of our Albany location.  This position will be responsible for routine cleaning and minor maintenance of the building.  High school diploma or equivalent and valid NYS driver’s license required.  Ideal candidate will have facility maintenance experience. 

Chinese Teacher

Starting August 2025 - Tech Valley High School is currently seeking a long-term substitute Chinese Teacher.  Tech Valley High School is an innovative regional public high school based on strong curricular partnerships with business, labor, government, higher education, and K-12 educators.  The school, located on the campus of SUNY Polytechnic Institute– NY Creates Albany Nanotech Campus in Albany, NY, provides a unique and innovative student-centered educational opportunity engaging students in emerging technologies.  Project based learning (PBL) is the central educational approach to all teaching and learning at the school.  Certification (or ability to become certified) in Chinese 7-12 is required.  Chinese will be taught in an integrated, PBL curriculum.  Must possess ability to work with various content area teachers to create meaningful connections.   Teachers should be willing and able to share their learning with a wide variety of professionals in the business and education community on an on-going basis, including workshops, seminars, and professional development experiences.
