Responsibilities Curriculum Development and Instruction: - Develop and implement science curriculum (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science) that aligns with state standards and integrates seamlessly with CTE pathways such as healthcare, engineering, technology, culinary and agriculture.

- Incorporate career exploration and workplace skills into science instruction, emphasizing the relevance of science to various professions.

- Develop and implement assessments to monitor student progress and provide meaningful feedback.
Collaboration and Integration: - Collaborate with CTE instructors to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities that bridge science and career-related skills.
- Work with industry partners and community organizations to provide students with opportunities for internships, job shadowing, and guest speaker presentations.
- Participate in CTE program planning and development, contributing to the alignment of science curriculum with industry standards and workforce needs.
Student Support and Guidance: - Provide academic support and guidance to students, including individualized instruction and tutoring as needed.
- Advise students on post-secondary education and career pathways in STEM-related fields.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success.
- Maintain accurate student records and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
- Stay current with advancements in science and CTE education through professional development opportunities.
- Implement new technology and best practices in the science classroom.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Science Education or a related science field.
- Valid state teaching certification in Science (grades 9-12).
- Experience teaching science at the high school level, preferably with a focus on CTE or career studies.
- Strong understanding of scientific concepts and their applications in various career fields.
- Ability to develop and implement engaging and relevant science curriculum.
