Job Description:
Questar III BOCES announces a Full-time Cleaner position available immediately for our facilities. We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented cleaners who are committed to ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and functional environment for students, staff, and visitors across assigned school district facilities.
High school diploma or equivalent and valid NYS driver’s license required.
Ideal candidates will have facility maintenance experience and flexibility to work both 1st and 2nd shift schedules. This is a Full-Time Cleaner position that will float to all our buildings as needed.
Bilingual English/Spanish Helpful
As a public employer, Questar III follows Columbia County Civil Service and residency requirements will apply (must be a resident of Albany, Rensselaer, Columbia, Greene, Ulster, or Dutchess County to be considered).
The successful applicant would be given a provisional appointment and be required to take a civil service exam once it is announced.
