About
Questar III BOCES announces a part-time, stipend-based, Virtual Business teacher position to serve students in our Virtual Learning Academy (VLA). The Questar III VLA is an innovative blended (combination of synchronous and asynchronous) online instructional program that supports our regional school district students in a virtual learning environment. All NYS Certified 7-12 Business teachers are welcome to apply.
Teacher Responsibilities include:

Promote a positive learning environment that encourages students to actively engage in their learning.

Ensure content and assignments are aligned with the New York State Learning Standards/Assessments and meet student needs.

Provide substantive interaction with students using flexible, individualized, and best practice online instruction.

Communicate goals for the course and discuss changes or additional goals with each student as needed throughout the course.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
Appropriate NYS Certification required
