About
We're looking for dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team for the upcoming winter season as a Part-Time Seasonal Snow and Ice Removal Crew member. This role is crucial for keeping our clients' properties safe and accessible throughout the snowy months.
Responsibilities:
Operate snow removal equipment such as snow blowers, plows, and shovels.
Spread de-icing agents like salt or sand on walkways, driveways, and parking lots.
Respond promptly to winter weather events, often on-call, to clear snow and ice.
Perform manual labor, including shoveling, lifting, and carrying materials.
Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
Communicate effectively with the team and management.
Availability: Must be available to work on-call, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as weather conditions dictate.
Physical Fitness: Must be physically capable of performing strenuous tasks, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and standing for extended periods in extreme cold weather.
Experience: Previous experience with snow removal equipment is a plus, but we're willing to train the right candidate.
Dependability: A strong work ethic and a commitment to showing up when needed are essential.
Driver's License: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
Adaptability: The ability to work in varying and unpredictable weather conditions.
