Job Description:
Questar III BOCES announces a full-time vacancy for a Special Education School Improvement Specialists (SESIS) to support partner school districts. This specialist will provide professional development — both embedded and in workshop form, to district staff to assist in understanding and servicing the needs of these diverse learners.
Qualifications:
NYS Special Education Teacher certification with a minimum of five years Special Education teaching experience required.
The preferred candidate will have ten years or more of teaching experience with extensive knowledge of research-based practices in the areas of Literacy, Behavioral Supports, and Special Education instruction.
