Job Description

Questar III BOCES announces full-time Teaching Assistant vacancies for our 2025 Special Education Extended School Year Summer School. Classes run from July 7 to August 15, with a full day orientation on July 2.  Summer School locations will include Rensselaer City, Rensselaer Academy, Sackett Educational Center, Paul Puccio School at Maple Hill and Marilyn A. Noonan School at Durham.  

Requirements:

• NYS Teaching Assistant certification (or willingness to become certified) required at time of hire
• Candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent and a desire to work with kids are encouraged to apply
• Preferred candidates will have experience working with Special Education students
