Beginning Immediately - Questar III BOCES is seeking a Math teacher at the Questar III and HVCC STEM High School, located on HVCC campus. This position will be working collaboratively with other teachers to develop and deliver project-based learning in cross-curricular lessons with an emphasis on STEM.
STEM HS is in its second year and serves high school students throughout the capital region. Students earn their high school diploma while also working toward earning their Associates degree in a STEM field from HVCC.
This school is a rigorous program that is geared towards real world problem solving skills, forging connections with industry professionals and exposing students to 21st century skills. Innovative teachers who enjoy working in a team environment are ideal candidates.
NYS teaching certification in secondary Mathematics required. This is a full-time position that is on a tenure track. Candidates that have experience working with technology are encouraged to apply.

Salary: $50,840 - $70,377 per year (salary commensurate with experience)
