Beginning 9/1/24 - Questar III BOCES is seeking a Math teacher for our STEM High School program located on the campus of Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY. This position will be collaborating with other teachers to develop and deliver project-based learning in cross-curricular lessons with an emphasis on STEM. Innovative teachers with experience teaching college level math courses are ideal candidates. Candidates that have experience working with technology are also encouraged to apply. STEM HS will be entering its’ fourth year of operation in the Fall of 2024 and serves high school students throughout the Capital Region. Students earn their high school diploma while also working toward earning their Associates degree in a STEM field from HVCC. This school is a rigorous program that is geared towards real world problem-solving skills, forging connections with industry professionals and exposing students to 21st century skills.
NYS teaching certificate in secondary Mathematics is required. This is a full-time probationary tenure track position.
