Immediate Opening - Questar III BOCES is seeking a part-time (.4 FTE) Special Education Consultant Teacher for our STEM High School program located on the campus of Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY. The position will monitor goals in IEP’s, communicate with component districts, provide resource room support and push in to classes to provide consultant teaching services as needed. Our staff support a collaborative project-based environment to ensure all students find success. STEM HS is a rigorous program that is geared towards real world problem-solving skills, forging connections with industry professionals and exposing students to 21st century skills. Innovative teachers who enjoy working in a team environment are ideal candidates. NYS certification in Secondary Special Education is required. This part-time position will work the remainder of the 23-24 school year (through June 26, 2024).
